Sometimes I even dig some garden beds, and plant flowers, but Mike does most of the work in the vegetable garden.

A few years ago we planted an orchard for Earth Day in 2012.

Last year we expanded with a fresh well and grew some wheat.

This year Mike planted a mini farm this year.

He harvested lots and lots of green beans, cucumbers, cauliflowers, cabbages, beets potatoes and more. 

Mike canned over 48 jars of green beans.

And is set to harvest over 100 lbs of potatoes and plenty of carrots and beets.

Oh, and he also canned a dozen or so quarts of pickles!
